Living Landscapes Case Study
Job in Leigh
This property is situated in Leigh just above Goat Island and overlooking Little Barrier Island. The job was constructed partly in conjunction with the builder.
Our client wanted an informal garden with lots of natives, and also flowering and nectar producing plants to attract birds.
The site is very exposed with coastal weather conditions. Pohutekawa hedges were planted to give some windbreak from westerly winds. Coloured ,cut, grouted and acidwashed concrete form patios, pool surrounds and walkways. A bridge over a water feature leads into main entrance of the building.

Job in Bucklands Beach
Before we started the garden was poorly designed, out of proportion and neglected. Our clients brief was to create a low maintenance subtropical and native garden with natural materials. We decided to use a timber board walk made out of eucalyptus sleepers. We also acid stained the original concrete patio and contoured the ground to give it a more natural appearance.
